marleejean Posted February 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2012 I thought I read somewhere that Carnival will take your suitcases when you arrive at the airport and put them on the ship for you. Anyone know something about this? Thanks!
CruiserBruce Posted February 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2012 The best source for this info would be the Carnival board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=215 Whether or not they offer it depends on port/airport, arrival time of your cruise, departure time of your flight, and some other variables. Anyone know something about this? Thanks! They might do that if you are using the Carnival transfer but since I don't do that anymore I'm not sure. They do have a program called Express Luggage where at the end of the cruise your leave your luggage out the last night and you don't see it again until you arrive at your home airport. Not all airlines and/or ships participate, but you can ask after you get on the ship. I would call the 800# and see if they offer the airport to ship baggage handling with a transfer.
