I know I have read that you can go ahead and add money to your account. I have a cruise booked for May that's paid in full. How do I do this? Called Carnival and lady said I had to call Bon Voyage. Called and they said I can't. Thanks for the help. Don't won't fun ship dollars cause I like theCasino!

Funship dollars is what you want...The only want to get OBC to your account before sailing is to purchase fun ship dollars. Then when you go to the casino, just transfer the money from your account to your player bank

I find calling to be the easiest method. 1-800-906-7603.

You can add virtually any amount of money. You'll need your booking number, ship and sailing date. Also, be sure to request that an invoice be mailed to you. Print it out and bring it along... just in case something falls into the cracks, so to speak.

One last word... to avoid a huge amount of hassle get it done prior to two weeks before you sail.

:)

I just got off the Fantasy on Monday. To get more casino money I put my ship and shore card in the slot machine. There are buttons on the slot machine that let you put money on your card, which is then tacked on to your bill at the end of the trip. If you want money to use at the tables, I downloaded the credits from the slot machine to my card and then took my card to the cashier and got cash. Good way of getting extra cash for other things too so you don't have to use the ATM machine on board (not sure what the fee for that is) You can pay your account off in cash at the end of the trip or it is automatically put on your credit card that is linked to your account. I'm sure you could take cash to guest services on board and they would put that on your ship n shore card to use as well. I found the casino the easiest way...no line to wait in! Best part is there are no fees like when you take a cash advance from your credit card. It either gets charged to your account or you settle your account before you leave.

I am a HUGE fan of having OBC waiting for me when I board..saves the worry of the balance after the cruise is over, helps me budget my spending, and keeps me from having to bring cash to the guest services desk.

I like calling and requesting funship dollars be added as credit to my account...the number Mach provided is the way to go IMHO.

What does Carnival do if you have left over OBC at the end of the cruise?

They'll give you a CHECK.... The check will be in the MailBox outside your cabin or they'll slide it under your cabin door on the last night.
