Does anyone know if there are buses or shuttles to Lima from the pier?

Yes your ship will charge you $5 dollars or else you can take the free shuttle supplied by sterns jewellers and put up with a quick "sell" woth it Will takeyou to Miraflores upscale area - and a long walk to Lima; sterns will shuttle you back again in the p.m

No $5 shuttle with Holland America. Stern shuttle is free to Marriott Miraflores.

 

Taxis are about $20 or negotiate.

I am interested in getting off the pier to be picked up by a private tour. Does anyone have experience with that?

Thanks, I did and found out permission can be refused. I guess we have to wait and see what happens.

Just returned with Celebrity. The local van was free from the ship to the terminal gate but the caution about walking in this area are legitimate.

 

Celebrity had a shuttle to Miraflores for $12.50. The taxi stand is beside all the tour buses immediately when exiting the ship.

 

Sterns had a booth there but we did not see their free shuttle listed. Happy sailing!
