In same same position on Island Princess for 6 weeks and am on Warfarin.Having my blood done 2 days before I fly.Not going to worry about the NRI.BUT will watch my alcohol input and will eat more Vit K.Spinach omelette every second morning.More Broccoli etc.Alcohol will affect so moderation in everything.We board in Novand get off in Jan.Hope this helps!

Last time we took the ships shuttle in and my husband was mugged as were many of the ships crew.We we’re so alert and knew we were being followed by 3 thugs.I wavked the one guy hard and my husband got his credit card back..It was in a hidden “spot” but they still knew.Be aware!

Mosses Bay is good .Durban good but do a ships tour.Port ElizabethAddo elephant park greatnor any other reserve. is ok for a game reserve.Nothing else!

We did on our own and we’re robbed.Ships crew as well I’m from South Africa and thought I was street smart.Sadly. Ot!ANot a safe place!

As an ex South African .Going up Table Mountain is dicey.aIf weather is not too windy or too cloudy the Cable Cars will work.Same with Robbin island although there are far better places to see than that the island .

Go with the ship excursion.Port area is not safe and taxis not always to be trusted..Hijackings ertc.Am Ex South African - lived in Durban.Be Safe please .

Penguin Volony inCape Town is much better ?As ai said before -The ocean can be tough and it’s very windy —trip can be cancelled at a moments notice.I am originally from a port Elizabeth.Years ago you could swim at the apenguin beach and the penguins would poop on you as you sun tanned on the beach .Boulders Beavh in Cale Town is beautiful.

Do another drive to Addo Elephant Park on your own.Go thru dome dicey areas and driving on the other side of the road..It is a over an hour drive and cabs are Notto be trusted! penguin sight depends on the western as it’s a very windy town and you have to make reservations way in advance that can be cancelled only that be cancelled at a moments notice. znopefully there will be some yours st the dock.
