well every weather site i have come across shows rainy next week. So praying that this isn't the case.

The typical forecast is 30% chance of rain. And rain in the tropics is generally a spotty proposition- early morning showers for a few minutes, then sun.:)

Every time I go to the Caribbean it shows rain and 99% of the time the sun is out when I get there.....

On our last cruise, we awoke to a grey sky and showers in St Thomas. It rained for at least 3 hours which is unusual I'm told. We had never experienced this on any of our previous trips. You might get a 15-20 min shower now and again but that's it. Of course, the western Caribbean can be a different story. I was pretty depressed and we canceled our planned trip over to St John. However by 10:30am, the skies cleared and the sunshine was back. The rest of the day was beautiful and we had a great day at Magens Bay.
