CorrieCJ Posted February 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Hi... will be on the Pride in 9 days... have a question. My son and daughter each have a 3DS, which can use WiFi for certain things. They are bringing them on the cruise (I am not particularly in favor, but since there's not much on the TVs at night, I am okay with it) and my fear is that the WiFi will be trying to connect (even if they are not trying to use it) and running up charges, the way a cell phone can do if you leave it on. Is this a possibility or is my fear unfounded? I'm not sure if there is a way to turn off the connectivity if they are using the games. Anyone more tech-savvy than me that can answer this? big_duck Posted February 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2012 The only way to be charged for wifi use is to log in.
