...do the cruise ships have helium tanks onboard? I'm guessing it might be a hazard, so I'm thinking not....... :eek:

 

Wanted to take a balloon (minnie mouse) on board with me - deflated - and see if they would blow it up.

 

Anyone know?

I'm not sure they'll let you bring it on board inflated with helium either. I think I read somewhere about a little boy having his balloon taken away when he tried to bring it on a cruise ship.

I figured. I can't recall ever seeing a helium balloon on board any of my cruises!

Not a fire hazard, Helium is non-flammable and inert. Now Hydrogen (as was used in the Hindenburg) would be a different story!

 

They might have a problem with a pressurized cylinder of Helium or anything else but I doubt it. They do blow up all those Bon Voyage cabin decorations somehow. I think it would be a very difficult task for a passenger to get hooked up with whoever is preparing al those baloons though.

Helium isn't a fire hazard you're thinking of hydrogen. According to The Brand Ambassador, Bon Voyage is currently examining adding balloons to their repertoire.
