Does Costa heat pool-water?

Hi evryone,

 

we are cruising aboard Costa Serena in march.

Now our question is: Is Costa heating the swimming-pools?

Unheated pools are of no real use...

I don't believe so. At least none of the Costa ships I've sailed on had heated pools (other than the jacuzzi's). The pools are filled with water directly from the sea and recirculated frequently throughout the day. If the ship has a covered pool, there's the illusion that the water isn't too cold. My only cruise on the Serena was during the summer when the pool was quite inviting.

Thanks, so I´ll just give it a try.Last year on Marina the water was cool but ok once we sailed by Gibraltar...
