12Cruise Posted February 13, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Thanks to you both. Is it easy to get to Le Galion?
Karysa Posted February 15, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2012 Thanks to you both. Is it easy to get to Le Galion? Getting there by taxi is easy. It takes 25-30 minutes but plan on 40 ish on the drive back. Try and have the taxi return for you at a set time. If that doesn't work out then ask at the restaurant for someone to call you a taxi. If you are stuck then walk the five minutes or so out onto the main road and flag down a taxi coming or going from the very nearby Orient Bay. That is the difference from being stuck at LeGalion compared to out at the cul de sac where the ferry drops you from Pinel Island. When you are stranded there you are really not left with any options and you are quite aways from port.

12Cruise Posted February 15, 2012 Author #8 Share Posted February 15, 2012 One more question: Will there be a cab where the ship docks or do we need to take the Water Taxi into Phillipsburg and then hail a cab to le Galion? Thnx!

Thnx! Follow the to taxis sign at the port, no need to water taxi into town.
