Any balcony rooms going to the Caribbean for fam of 5?

I have a friend who is taking his first cruise and he has a family of 5. I tried to look up info but was not able to come up with an answer. If they have rooms but they are not balcony rooms which rooms can hold 5 in a cabin?

Would you please let us know which ship/itinerary your friends are thinking about so we can give you specific info? None of RCI's ships have basic cabins that hold five, but there are several varieties of family cabins or adjoining cabins that could work for them.

any caribbean cruise on an RCI cruise. They are very flexible.

Royal Family Suites (holds 6 comfortably) or the Presidential Suite (holds up to 16). You need to call RCL directly or a TA would need to call RCL for you to get the pricing on these rooms they don't show the prices on the website.

They have large suites but they are expensive. You have to call to get the price. It most likely will be much less money to get 2 connecting cabins.

We are a family of 5 and initially had the same thought of wanting to all be in one cabin (esp with the youngest being 7 at the time) but instead booked connecting balcony rooms. The biggest advantage of 2 rooms was having an additional bathroom -- we were able to get ready for dinner in half the time. Also, depending on the ship (we were on FOS), you may be able to have your cabin steward open up the balcony divider and double your balcony space. Unfortunately, there are very few of these room combos and they can fill up fast (we booked a year out).

I had to purchase a Family OceanView Suite for our ( 5 ). And it was the only one! Try Adjoining rooms. That was not an option for me, I'd rather have my kids in the same room;) Oh, this was the "Enchantment".

You certainly could book online if connecting cabins are showing up as avaliable. If you have a travel agent or just call the cruise line directly they can do it for you.
