We too were going to book 14151 but instead went with a lesser room so I could get a new car :D We are booked in 14102 is this deck covered balconies?

 

There are no uncovered balconies above deck 9

Oh my gosh! I am sooo excited to see your review....we have until Thanksgiving Week 2012 to go, but I am on the ship right now with your thoughts and experiences.

 

I keep reading about "Spa COMPLEX Accomodations". Is there a separate entrance to our suites? We are sadly not booked in 14151....I wish, but are in 14139, at the end of the hall and then you turn to the spa entrance. Hey, I figured, be at the end of the hallway, and bang, run into the wall after too many martinis...there is the door before you turn....LOL. Is it a "Private" Keyed Hallway?

Our friends we met on the ship were in 14139. You have lots of room in that corner for luggage when it is dropped off/ picked up, and room service trays, etc.

 

The deck plans are misleading, though. The entrance to the Spa is between the stairs and the elevators, across from 14167. Looking at the plans, I thought we were going to have the medi-spa across the hall. It was just a big wall.

 

It is not a keyed hallway. Just a public spot. You can tell which rooms are suites because the 8 of them have doorbells.

Thanks for the review. Went on the Epic last April with my mom and we are booked again for this April and my brother is coming with us. Seeing the pics just makes me even more excited and anxious to sail again.

I did not realize how big the spa suite balcony is.

We also had Lani as our butler and she is amazing!

I had another question. When we were on the Norwegian Dawn, our Suite had a special cell phone that we could contact the concierge or butler at any time, and we could take it anywhere around the ship. My question is, does the Haven Spa Suite also come with a communication device to contact the Butler or Concierge?

 

I am so excited....only 238 more days......an Epic-ly long wait for and EPIC vacation!

Yes, you will have a cordless phone which you can take anywhere on the ship. You can use it to contact the butler, concierge, or even each other! We used it a lot to call back to the Suite to talk to the other person.

YAY! When we were on the Norwegian Dawn, the only time I used our cordless phone was to call back to the suite at 3 o'clock in the morning from the Casino.

 

The conversation went like this:

 

Ring Ring (Me calling the suite at 3 in the morning)....

"Uh"..... Cough, Jerome clears his throat....."Helllllo?" (My other half, Jerome, has a sleepy, raspy, I just woke him up and I am going to be in trouble, voice)

"Hello Jerome...It's JW" (Uh, Duh)

"JW, Why the hell are you calling the room? Do You know what time it is???"

I replied...."Jerome, can you please come down to the Casino?"

Jerome says "Why, what did you do?" (it's obvious he is now waking up)

I repeated "Jerome, Please come down to the Casino and would you please bring my Drivers License?"

He shouted "JW! What the PH*CK Did you Do???" Oh yeah, he was WIDE AWAKE NOW and knowing me, thought that I may be going to the Brink....LOL

 

I said, "Pleaaaasssse, just bring my License and get down here quick!

 

About ten minutes later....Geez, he looked like all hell, he had two different slippers on, his pj bottoms, and an untucked shirt, but I loved it, as, it was at the that time, since I had just won a Big Jackpot in the Casino, they were paying me in Hundreds...counting them down....eleven, twelve, thirteen, etc...etc....etc....then the proverbial computer generated check for the remaining amount (Damn!) and then....I had to sign the Fabulous Government W-2G winnings slip and they needed, what???? My Drivers License. Oh thank you Jerome! Ha Ha Ha.

 

 

Ha Ha Ha, I thought, with all that cash in my hand, and Jerome looking on...., Ha Ha Ha....boy did I get him! Son of a B! The bastard snatched the cash out of my hand, quicker than Jenny Jones on an unwrapped Tastycake in a New York Deli, and went back to the room.....Jerome put the cash in the safe and I never saw it again, until we got off the ship!

 

Needless to say, it was an eventful cruise, I loved the Casino, I had a blast and we have always wanted to use the Cordless Phone again.....it seems to be a lucky charm.

 

By the way....I did eventually get the cash back and we paid for our next cruise on the Norwegian Sun with it......
