schools needing help

Does anyone know if there are any location in the Caribbean beside Mahajual in Costa Maya that cruisers are droppinig of school supplies and other needed items.

Where can you go to find out what supplies the schools need? I've seen this comment before but can't seem to find a "list" anywhere, and also where do you drop off the items?

 

We are on Explorer next week and I would love to bring some supplies for my daughters to donate.

The way things seem to be going these days, you could probably go down to your neighbourhood school at home...and they would be able to use supplies.

You could check on the port of calls board located on cruise critic and look in the various ports.

 

But I often wondered about people doing this for schools in their own neighborhoods.

I read a post that they were collecting things for an orphanage in Roatan Bay Hondouras
