jerray07 Posted February 17, 2012 #26 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Gucci II and Burberry Summer. Gucci II is my all time fav though. It's the best!
kbmeow Posted February 17, 2012 #27 Share Posted February 17, 2012 My I am going someplace special is Joy. But in general I switch between 2 lancome scents and a perfume I got at a perfumery in Ireland
Happy ks Posted February 17, 2012 #28 Share Posted February 17, 2012 I had a travel sized cologne atomizer, unfortunately my cologne dissipated in it in no time at all. So, unless I have a sample size I don't take fragrance on a cruise with me. What I will do is get a tiny bit from the fragrance store onboard the ship, just stop by on my way to the cocktail hour. I can try a few new ones that way. If I find one I really like, I'll buy it onboard. I probably buy one or two bottles within a 5 year period, I rarely wear fragrance. Most of my fragrance purchases are for my daughter...or my son.
DivasDare Posted February 17, 2012 #29 Share Posted February 17, 2012 I use the lotion and shower gels that come in the gift sets when I travel. The lotion goes a long way and I prefer to use the gels for formal and special evenings. During the day I prefer not to temp any possible bees while on excursions. MJC Posted February 17, 2012 #30 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Chanel No. 5 for winter, Burberry Brit for summer. Good point about excursions! Unless I'm in a city I skip fragrance for daytime, and that includes hairspray. Fruit-scented shampoos can also be a problem, especially for bees. Choochala Posted February 17, 2012 #31 Share Posted February 17, 2012 My new fav is Prada (noir - I think) and my all time favorite is Tresor by Lancombe. I also love Mackie and the pink bottle of Hugo Boss. I have several on the go. Can't resist the duty free shops :p

PrincessStar Posted February 17, 2012 #33 Share Posted February 17, 2012 I LOVE Princess by Vera Wang and Angel by Thierry Mugler. I spray it in my hair - when I move my head around, rebrush, etc you can smell it. And it's not directly in my face.
twoputt.plusone Posted February 17, 2012 #34 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Moulinard - I've worn it for over 30 years. It's very very difficult to find in Canada but has become my signature. All my friends link me to that scent. Perfume to me is a very personal thing and it took me a long time to find one that was "me". Once in a while I'll change things up and use Carolina Herrera's VIP.

Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted February 18, 2012 #36 Share Posted February 18, 2012 My all time favorite is My Sin by Lanvin. It is no longer made and I really miss it. Currently I really like Flowerbomb.
sail7seas Posted February 18, 2012 #37 Share Posted February 18, 2012 I hardly ever wear perfumes/colognes/toilet water these days but I used to like L'Air du Temp and Guerlain's Shalimar. So many people are 'scent sensitive' that I avoid wearing it most of the time.
tispwisp Posted February 18, 2012 #38 Share Posted February 18, 2012 I am extremely scent sensitive and get headaches very easily from perfume. But the one that I can wear and love the scent of is Island by Michael Kors.
musicgal Posted February 18, 2012 #39 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Interlude- Francis Denney It's hard to source now. Jackie K. is said to have worn it. Very strong and earthy.
cruise kitty Posted February 18, 2012 #40 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Joy, first perfume I snuck a dab from my Mom's vial, & I bought it on my honeymoon 26 years ago, I'm not a heavy perfume girl, but I love Joy.... Perfume that's gone, however, my favorite all time was Most Precious, best scent ever, IMHO:)
mjcoleman Posted February 18, 2012 #41 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Laila - got addicted to it at Disney in Epcot (Norway). Doesn't bother allergies and smells soooo good! :)
boxermom73 Posted February 18, 2012 #42 Share Posted February 18, 2012 I am one who cant ever find anything that I like on me, so I usually just got body spray form bath and body and VS. but I have a friend that works for ED Hardy and she gave me some Villian and that is "IT "finally:D so she has given me so many samples that I should be good on my next cruise! FlaGrl4Evr Posted February 18, 2012 #43 Share Posted February 18, 2012 My favorite is Miracle by Lancome. It is a nice-light fragrance; not overpowering but still lasts through the day. I just bought a bottle the other day at Macy's and they were having a cosmetic bag with lots of goodies give-away. I love when they do this. It was an unexpected surprise. :) . Kilnwood Posted February 20, 2012 #44 Share Posted February 20, 2012 We sailed on the Carnival Splendor for 49 days from Fort Lauderdale to San Francisco back in 2009, and I took along two fragrances that I had gotten as Christmas presents from two different friends--and that I had never even tried before. Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea is what I wore in the evening, and CK One is what I wore during the day. We're repeating practically the same itinerary in February 2013, and unless these fragrances are no longer available, I'm going to treat myself because I enjoyed them so much! Even though it is a men's cologne, I like Christian Dior's Eau Savage for daytime. Don't know if Prescriptives still produces Calyx, but I used to like that too. Happy cruising to all--and thanks for some wonderful "fragrance memories!"

kbowe Posted February 20, 2012 #46 Share Posted February 20, 2012 My favorite is Bellagio! Asked many times what perfume I have on. I bought all I could fine online.
CactusGirly Posted February 20, 2012 #47 Share Posted February 20, 2012 Well, as much as I like Versace Bright Crystal, my DH thinks it smells like "perfume", so I don't wear it too often. What I do wear that drives him crazy, (and, oddly, causes other men that get close to me to comment favorably on how I smell :o), is so simple. I just layer The Body Shop's Coconut Body Butter with their Vanilla Perfume Oil. It's like some sort of magic potion to the male species. :)
LESLIEKURZ Posted February 20, 2012 #48 Share Posted February 20, 2012 I love my Moschino Cheap and Chic Love Love... like fresh oranges but my hubby prefers Sud Pacifique Vanille Coco. Makes me smell like a chocolate shop which I think is a bit weird but it makes him crazy. Actually I tend to get lots and lots of compliments from men when I wear it. So typical.
