cruise addict 6810 Posted February 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Cruising on the Splendor May 27. Celebrating daughters graduation from CalState Northridge. Our group numbers 5 but I am the only Platinum VIP entitled to expedited boarding. All others are past guests with at least 2 Carnival cruises. Question: If I take others in tow will our entire group be able to board early in the VIP line? Thanks for any and all help.
GORDONCHICK Posted February 17, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2012 You'd probably get a response on the Carnival board.

My first response is,,,, why should they be? Have they earned or paid for the VIP entitlement? My second response is,,,,, If they are your "young children" high school or younger, or You are paying for everybodies cruise and they are ALL on your S&S card,,, then Yes. When I am in this situation, we have either A) Seperated and just joined up on deck B) I check in with them by standing in the line with them and forgoing my VIP checkin benefits. Rare mizLORInj Posted February 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2012 You probably can; just ask at the port if they can join you so you can stay together. I have seen people do this many times. Worst that will happen is you'll be told no.
Bonnie J. Posted February 17, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2012 I have seen 1st time Carnival cruisers in the VIP line- they were with VIPs. (They had the red, white & blue cards 1st time cards) Just say you're all traveling together and see what happens.
