jsbellisle Posted February 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Are there any other bars or food establishments on Grand Turk beside Mville and Jacks? We will be there in July on the Pride.
WillieD13 Posted February 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Nothing in the Cruise Center to speak of, aside from candy and booze in the duty free shop, but the ship is docked right there, so it is easy enough to run up to the Lido deck, eat there, and return to the beach, shops, or whatever you are doing. Rare crewsweeper Posted February 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Yes there are. The White Sands Resort near the cruise port has a restaurant/bar, big Daddy's Beach Shack with cracked conch, coconut shrimp and local lobster. Might be a bit upscale. In Cockburntown, there's a locals dive called Barbie's with conch fritters and cheap beers. But better is down Duke Street to the Salt Raker Inn where they have a garden restaurant called Secret Garden. Across the street on the shore side is the Sandbar, a popular spot for locals and longer stay vacationers. The PoopDeck on Front Street is also a good place to go for fried chicken. There are also a couple of nice restaurants/bars at the Osprey Beach Hotel.
