sometime today or tommorrow, the number of cc members will be 100,000. I know of no other board that has so many members. I have been on other travel related boards and this is by far the easiest to navigate and the most informative. Yes it sometimes gets heated, but as in all families we make up and go on.

Way to go cruise critic keep up the great work!!!

I started here when this service was part of AOL. For a short time I left to be more involved (chat host) on another service.

But yes, I find this to be the best.

Keep up the good work.

I think I used to get emails from CC when we had AOL a long time ago. Wow, that's when we had a Dot Matrix printer. That's the kind with the cash register-like ribbon that goes back and forth. Only problem was that it would overheat if we printed a lot of stuff. I remember when we were going on the Triumph back in '99. I remember looking at all the virtual tours (not sure what site) the night before we boarded! I think it was the Triumph. Nostalgia, good times!

I've traveled the world and the seven seas aboard...

- Carnival Triumph New England/Canada 4 night August 1999

- Celebrity Zenith Bermida 7 night August 2001

- Norwegian Sea Bahamian 7 night July 2002

- Celebrity Galaxy Western Carribbean 10 night August 2003

- Soon to be... Norwegian Wind 14 Night Vacation Package -10 Nights shipboard and 4 nights at the Sheraton in Honolulu- August 7 - 22 2004

By the way, I have no problem with anyone emailng me about these cruises or general experience...just drop me a line at sbcs5390@optonline.net!

 • 1 month later...
I know there may have been some people that reregistered (me included) because their username from the old boards was not working. That could explain the bump in numbers.

We hit 100,000 in May long before the transfer to the new board. But I imagine the numbers might be up this month because of people reregistering.
