Road Town BVI suggestions

We will be in Road Town BVI Feb 2013. We will be in port from 7am-3:00pm.

 

I was wondering what some of you recommend. Me and Mrs like the beach but also enjoy sight seeing. How are the beaches that early in the morning?

 

Does anyone have names of tour guides they would recommend?

 

Which beach would be better for that time of day? Would like something with food and drinks and maybe snorkeling...

 

Whats the "don't miss" there?

go to jost van dyke. beautiful beach and great beach bars. book through the ship. it is more expensive but worth the peace of mind.

roadtown itself is not close to any beaches. It is a small town with many shops and shopping areas, like most towns in the carribean. The closest major beach is cane garden bay. This is a beautiful area with restaurants and beach bars. It is a taxi ride over the hill to the other side.
