HELP FINDING EXCURSIONS FOR April 14/2012

We have tried many of the website connections but are having trouble with the websites example Glory tours.

Perhaps looking for a taxi to arrange would be a good idea and in that manner does anyone have a reputable cab driver and guide that is knowledgeable. Our fear is not returning in time before ship leaves port!

Thanks.

surely someone has taken tours in Barbados and can help us with name of tour operators or what are some things to doin Barbados if we do not take any tour?

I have never been to Barbados but we will be there April 20. I have booked an excursion from shoretrips.com. They have several to choose from, and I have read good things about the company here on CC. We are doing the Caves, monkeys and beaches tour.

Check them out..they have tours for many different islands.

many cruises start from barbados, so they are extremely well organised. Once you come out of the cruise terminal there is a taxi/mini bus rank. They will ask you where you want to go and if you wish to go to a specific place or an island tour etc they will match you up with other people.

If you want a private taxi for yourselves they can arrange too. it couldn't be easier and is much cheaper than ship excursions.

We need help with contact names for land excursions. Please Help. We want to do a private excursion and not the ships. Thank you.

In researching tour options for our cruise stop in Barbados (back in 2009), I have complied a list of private tour operators. Hopefully this will help!

Barbados is an island that offers alot of everything--from sightseeing and beach stops, ziplining, swimming with turtles or visiting Harrisons Cave. You can take a land tour with such operators as Cameron Reid, Scenic Barbados Tours, Glory Tours, Johnson Tours, or Coconut Tours or explore the island on a jeep safari with Adventureland. If you want to go on the seas and swim with the turtles you can take an excursion on a catamaran like the Tiami, Silver Moon, Calabaza or Shasa. These are popular excursions and lunch is provided.

What we did: We booked Harrison’s Cave and Rockley Beach with Scenic Barbados Tours. With Andy as our guide, we visited such sites as Harrison's Cave, Bathsheba (located on the rugged east coast side of the island), St. John's Parish Church and Accra/Rockley Beach.
