lbsalob Posted February 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2012 My last cruise was on the Legend about 5 years ago.. On that cruise I uttered the phrase I never thought I would utter: "I don't think i can eat any more Caviar". Now, I'm sailing on the Quest in a couple months and am wondering, will they still serve caviar to the guests anytime requested? Also, what is the brand of Champagne served as the house Champagne? Host Dan Posted February 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2012 The amount served (caviar) is ALOT less than 5 years ago. Order 2 or 3 servings! Host Dan
lbsalob Posted February 26, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted February 26, 2012 Thanks for the information. Even before, when ordering it I had to order 2 or 3 portions to make a decent appetiser.

sananda Posted February 27, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2012 We will be first time Seabourn travellers in April, so I am very excited to hear that caviar is freely available. Pardon my newbie questions about this service, but where can you get it? In the restaurant, bars, lounges? How is it served? (With buckwheat blini, toast points, creme fraiche, quail egg, etc) Thanks for the info.

JaneBP Posted February 28, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 28, 2012 YOu can also meet with the Maitre d' and arrange for a standing order of caviar, say for cocktail time? Or as your starter at dinner, or as your 'finisher' at bedtime!
