Denali Princess Lodge ideas

We'll be at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge for a whole day and the next morning on our trip in September. Need to find something interesting to do for that whole day. Its ours to plan so please make some suggestions.

Does anyone know if there is a zip line anywhere near Denali? Would love to try it at some time.

I'd be making multiple shuttle trips into the Park in order to view wildlife. There is hiking in the park, a free sled dog demo, exhibits, a free shuttle to Savage River trail head.

I don't know of any ziplining around Denali. Rafting is very popular and ATV tours. Look at the list provided by Princess:

While we were at the Denali Princess Lodge, we used Alaska Tour and Travel for our "Denali Raft Canyon Whitewater" adventure.

 

It was a blast! I would do it again in a heart beat.

I'd hop on a shuttle bus to Eielson and enjoy the wildlife and scenery!

Don't you have any tour included that gets you INTO Denali?? No there aren't any zip lines.

 

I would suggest the shuttle bus to Wonder Lake in you timeframe. :)
