How do you know how much of an OBC your booking will receive?

 

I have not read the terms, but generally its by number of days of your cruise.

You aren't alone in this- I have tried many many times to get on their email list. I have even called and spoken to several departments. I have given up and rely on people here.

 

I never get the email either.

I have asked for them and DH and I are platinum.

I am past my final payment date, so I'm SOL, but I would have saved $40 ($110 more for the sale rate minus $150 credit).

I didn't get an email either but just checked the fair viewer and my price dropped $40 on our cruise in May!!! My DH is realizing that it paying for me to be on these sites as much as I am. $120 saved so far!! I got so excited, I scared my dogs!

I don't know how this could ever be a "sale". The rate would cost us an extra $270 for a $150 OBC. Thanks, but no thanks :mad:

I still think it's funny that the Early Saver rate is always cheaper than the past guest rate. Anyone can get an ES rate, so what's the point in having past guest rates? I guess for people that book cruises last minute?

With this latest "sale" the price of my ES cruise has gone up $500 for the four of us, hope it goes back down my inlaws still need to book it for themselves.

Our fare has dropped $100. I just tried a new booking using the same options (West Coast Rate) that I am already booked under and it is now $100 cheaper. I have a week until final payment is due. If I call, will they lower my fare, or will I have to cancel and re-book?

For once, the sale WILL work for me - new booking. On Magic in June - actually $40 cheaper than I was going to book last week and still get the $200.00 obc. Finally - a perk and I've been Platinum for a long time (LOL)

did a dummy booking for the Dream on Dec 8th. Came out about $130 or so more to book this sale over the ES rate..hoeeey of course!
