Promotional On Board Credit

I have heard conflicting reports as to what you can use this credit for. Can they be used for bar drinks, bottles of wine, tours, spa treatments, shore excursions.

You help will be appreciated.

Hi Shaq,

Generally, with a very few exceptions, the OBC is unrestricted. Once onboard the ship, You should be able to use the OBC for everything you mentioned above. One item you cannot do, is redeem the OBC for Cash.

If you have additional questions, please let us know. Enjoy your Cruise !

Hi Shaq,

One item you cannot do, is redeem the OBC for Cash.

And that therefore means you cannot use it in the casino if that interests you.

I have a follow up question Andy

Across my last few Azamara and Celebrity bookings I am seeing a number of different codes on my invoices - OBC/PCS/SB07

In the circumstances we managed to use our credits but for future reference are the OBC/PCS codes refundable- we know SB codes are shareholder benefit and they are not refundable

This will help us plan also in the light of Bill's comments re using credit on excursions which are now extremely costly this year in the absence of the 50% off.

You can use it for anything including a visit to the medical center.

We know two couples on different itineraries who were able to get the unused OBC from Azamara refunded to their credit card at the end of their trip.

In one case it was a negotiated decision because the person had no way to spend the OBC. They could not drink wine because of medical reasons, the shops were closed for renovations, and the Spa was completely booked for the rest of the trip.

We were actually told our unused OBC would be refunded, but we managed to spend it.
