Terrence Richards Posted March 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2012 Hello, this will be our first time on a Disney ship and we are really looking forward to boarding the Magic in New York City on May 25. Is it possible to store our luggage under the beds. We will be in a Deluxe Ocean View with Veranda stateroom on Deck Seven. Thanks again for your help! Host Mick Posted March 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2012 Yes you can. Sometimes you have to lift the bed up a bit to get the fatter cases to fit under the frame. They fixed this on the Dream and Fantasy in that the beds are a bit higher.

jaybear Posted March 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2012 We sailed on the Magic last year (had a fabulous time, by the way!), and we stored the bulk of our duffel bags under the bed. We were in a deluxe family ocean view stateroom with verandah. But we had one big suitcase that just couldn't go under the bed. Our room steward took it from us and stored it somewhere nearby for the duration of the cruise, and he returned it to us during the final evening. It worked out great! While this has happened before, I wouldn't count on it. There really are no bulky luggage storage facilities onboard. Sometime a room host can find a space somewhere, usually not. :)
Terrence Richards Posted March 7, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Thanks "Jaybear" and"Shmoo here" for your response. Storing luggage under the beds is very important to allow for more room in the closets. We travel with two pullman size pieces, two garment bags, and two carry ons. The carry ons go inside the pullmans for storage, and the garment bags go next to them under the beds. Before I place the luggage under the beds, I first check to be sure there is no mysterious items there. LOL Terrence
