Best place in Phillipsburg to buy Chocolate? I have a sweet young lady of 85 who would love for me to bring her back some Dutch chocolate. Who has the best? :D

The Supermarkets and gift shops like the Shipwreck Shop on Frontstreet carry many specialty items flown in from Amsterdam.

 

For chocolate, the shop mentioned here regularly is the Belgian Chocolate Box, on Old Street, an alley off of Frontstreet, but they also have a small shop at the Cruise Facility.

We have visited St. Maarten many times, I always stop at the Belgian Chocolate Box. Make your selections and tell them what ship you are on and they will send it back to the ship for you. You just pick it up at the ship. Wonderful chocolates.

I agree with the Belgian Chocolate box - we bought some there for a very special 83 "year young" lady in our family and it was SOOOOO good! We will definitely be stopping back there when we return in May. :)

All the times we've been to St. Maarten, it never occured to us to look for luscious Dutch chocolates. We'll be there soon and will correct that ommission. :)
