tour strictly sightseeing

We are looking for a short sightseeing tour and we do not want to do the beach scene but like to see the beaches. It sounds like not a great place to shop so what else can one do that would be interesting. Would taking a cab or tour be the way to go. Does anyone have a name of a tour operator that they enjoyed.

We want to shop and tour St. Lucia so would like to spend more there.

Has anyone done the Segway Tour in Antiqua recently?? I've emailed them but not getting a response.

We were just in Antigua and had planned to take public transportation. When we got off the ship we connected with a cab driver who took us to the beach we wanted to go to (Turner's) and customized a tour for the way there and back. We paid $20US per person .... he left us at the beach for 2 hours and was prompt picking us up. We had an amazing tour of the island. He did whatever we wanted us to (we weren't interested in the typical tourist thing...Nelson Dockyard, etc.) Was one of our best days.

We used Lawrence of Antigua. Very reasonable. Saw some great sites and there was still time for the beach if you liked. Shirley's Heights, Nelson's dockyard, botanical gardens, Devil's bridge, etc. The scenery at these spots is fantastic and worth a good ride. Lawrence is quick to answer emails and a very good guide. I'll take a good guide over a taxi driver any day of the week. (prices are very reasonable).
