Nope. You can no longer smoke cigars in the Cigar Bar. Facebook is more important. Cigar smoking has been relocated to the jazz bar on Deck 5, Aft.

That's unthinkable! One of the few traditions I associate with a cruise is having a nice cigar after dinner in the cigar bar free of those complainers and cigar critics...we had a "place".

We've lost a tradition...

After Sailing on a few other Carnival Ships and venturing off to Royal Caribbean, we are coming back to a Conquest class ship in April. So far the Freedom has remained my favorite and is the main factor for going back to this class of ship.

I leave on the Freedom sat, 3/10, my second time on her. I think she is a great ship. I was so looking forward to the Piano Bar, doesn't sound too promising!!!

Last year on the Freedom, we were on Eastern time the whole time. This weekend we go to Daylight Savings Time, and I was told that the ships will advance 1 hour.

Do not understand your post re: Eastern time and ship time. We were told last year to keep on ships time.

 

Can't wait for saturday.

The only thing I disagree with is the tornado. I have personally experienced huge winds by opening the door with the balcony door open. Blew all loose paper all over the cabin.

 

Congrats on having your favorite cruise ever!

 

Haha, ditto us. We were having quite the large family party going in our cabin when we first discovered the tornado effect. Dresses and hair were flying everywhere! We were all drinking, so it was hilarious rather than embarrassing.

Me too!!! :) I started to worry when I read about the time change. Then I realized the original post was from 2012. Duh moment for me. I'm still on her this Saturday!
