HELP!!!! Princess or Carnival

Trying to decide between a southbound Princess or Carnival. Two families with total of 4 teens ages 22, 20,18 and 15. Still waiting for pricing on Princess for 2006. Spirit's prices are already out. Any suggestions or tips between the two cruise lines for Alaska cruises? We have been on Princess and Carnival many times for the Carribean but looking for help for Alaska.

There is no comparism between Caribbean Carnival sailing and Alaska sailing with Carnival, so if you are looking for a "party ship" there aren't any. I have sailed Alaska 3 times on Carnival, they do a good job. Princess has the edge with Glacier Bay. But I also greatly prefer Seward over Whittier. Consider pricing, time in ports etc.

I have been on the Carnival Spirit and I love it...

 

Its a huge ship and its sooo much fun!!!
