Does anyone know yet how long Jimmy Rhodes will be on the Allure after Sept 30 when he takes over for Allan Brooks..

 

I hear from post that is not a great CD..

 

I will be on the Allure on December 9 and would hate to have a cruise director that gets bad reviews...

 

As soon as anyone finds out who will be the cruise director on the Allure from December 9-16 please post..

Adventure OTS - Warren Allen started 6/2 and will be there until 6/30, then "cultural director" Jerome Sueur will take over for two weeks (6/30-7/14). Abel Jeney returns July 14 for 4 months.

Does anyone know how long Amy will be on Oasis and who will replace her? We sail September 29 and would just like to know. We have had Amy before as an assistant and she was great. We are just unsure of her as the CD from what we have read. It really doesn't matter on Oasis or Allure for there are so many activities you really see more of the CD staff than the actual CD themselves.

Does anyone know how long Amy will be on Oasis and who will replace her? We sail September 29 and would just like to know. We have had Amy before as an assistant and she was great. This is not reliable info by any means (until confirmed), but someone said Ricky Matthews would be returning to Oasis at some point to replace Amy. I hope that is true for the sake of future Oasis cruisers as he was fantastic! (Way better than Amy, IMHO).

 

Perhaps whoever posted that on here can come back and provide some more concrete info.

Joff is supposed to start on Indy today, but we won't know for sure until someone returns from the cruise and lets us know that he was there.

 

On our last cruise, Richard Spacey was asked the question about how long CD's stay on for. His reply is that is it variable. Some contracts are for one month, two months, four months, six months, etc. It depends on many factors, such as whether they are just covering another CD's break, or whether they are needed elsewhere, or whether they have special requests that need to be considered. Some know their assignments far in advance, others find out at the last minute. Some get official notice of one assignment, but then get changed afterwards.

I've just returned off Liberty after a week around the Med. James is still on the ship (I was expecting Leo Papa to have already taken over). I didn't get a chance to talk to him direct but there wasn't any sign that he was leaving any time soon, so perhaps it will be later this month. The activities manager (John) was off on a break at the end of my cruise so they are possibly giving the new person a week or two to settle in. Sorry, not much help I know!
