We would like to book a good glacier tour. Any you can recommend.We start in Fairbanks on May10. We're in Danali on the 11th, at McKinley on the 12th, at Anchorage on the 13th and at Whittier the 14th to board the ship. We sail the 15th, at Glacier Bay the 16th, Skagway the 17th, Juneau the 18th (have a local giving us a tour here) and Ketchikan the 19th. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Just happened to see your post. We are either on the same ship or your are following us. We are on the Island Princess departing Whittier on May 14 and going to all of the ports you mentioned on the same days. If you are on the Island Princess and want to join in, please join our roll call.

What TYPE of glacier tour??? Boat, fly, view?? Out of Whittier there are just excellent glaicer boat tours. Talkeetna- 50 miles from your McKinley Princess lodge and the nearest town- flightseeing with ski planes glacier landing. Glacier Bay will see several glaciers. My top choice is a glacier helicopter landing with Coastal out of Juneau.

We would love to have you join our thread. From the "Roll Calls" menu, on this website, click on "Princess Cruises" and scroll down until you find the heading "*** Island Princess 05/14/05 Alaska who's going? ***". Sometimes you have to go down two or three pages to find our thread. I noticed on your post above you said you were sailing on May 15th. You are not on another ship are you?
