Mahogany Bay beach excursion?

I know that you do not need to book the ship excursion to go to the beach right there in Mahogany Bay, but is it advisable to ensure a chair?

 

We will be on the Carnival Magic in September. Our day there is from 8am-6pm.

 

We are early risers so there isnt a problem with us getting off of the ship asap. I would rather save the 25 bucks or whatever, if I can. Obviously, it is our first time on this itinerary. TIA!

Plenty of loungers. clam shells can be rented. People come and go all day long. Should not be a problem at all.

I checked and it appears we are the only ship in port that day which helped make up my mind. We are going to do zip lining right there as well, rather than endure the long excursion through the ship in Belize.
