Dayenu Posted March 14, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2012 I got something in a gift shop on the Med cruise, and the charge was in US dollars and Euro. I asked the cashier, she couldn't explain, I talked to the manager. He said, the price in Euro is for our information only, the currency of the ship is US dollars, and this is how my credit card will be charged. And it was true. So no doubt, it's US $$$. SteveH2508 Posted March 14, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2012 Be aware that, depending upon the itinerary, you may be charged Spanish VAT (8%) on your onboard spending.
