We booked ES and are about 18 days out. There are 3 of us and now there are no cabins available for 3. But the price for 2 passengers have dropped. Can I get obc for the first 2 passengers?

If they are in the same category, submit it. All they can do is turn it down.

My understanding, especially when using the Fare Viewer is you must compare total number of pax in cabin. But, as other poster said, the worst they can do is say no so go for it.

Such a sweet and polite CSR. She said it made sense and is checking to see.

I need to find out if she is a vacation planner and what her extension is.

Me too! I never considered even looking into it. Always assumed it needs to be exact, category, number of people, etc

 

Would be wonderful if possible on a 3 person cabin. Got 3 price drops on the 2 person, but all 3 cabins are sold out.

the rules say no. they specifically state that it must be for the same category, same # of pax.

 

But they are so behind they could make a mistake. usually they say no but they are careless

The CSR I spoke to could not get an answer and no-one she spoke with knew. I sent it in. If it works it would be about $180.00 difference. My fingers are crossed.
