Chilkoot Float Tours ? OR Southeast Tours?

Does anyone know which company RCCL uses for the hike and float tour?

Am I correct in my readings that Southeast can be irratic?

Yukon, seems to prefer Chilkoot Tours... they do have 2 less people on a raft.

Both are the same price online. ($19. more thru the cruise line).

I don't care about the price diffference, I only care about being herded like cattle. Booking online is ok with me. I am concerned about the time factor tho, as we don't get into Skagway til noon. I think they both quote, the tours are just over 4 hours.

P.S. What's with all that warm weather Alaska is having??? We're freezing down here:confused: :)

Don't know what company RCCL uses. My wife and I have visited Skagway 6 out of the last 8 summers (twice we stayed for 3 days) and each time we used Southeast Tours. Not sure but I think our guide said that all of the hiking and floating tours are done on the same trail and river. So no matter who you choose it will be a "good time". So enjoy....
