katisdale Posted May 20, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2012 Room service is included in the cost of the cruise. I usually tip the server a few dollars for the delivery.

There is a $3 delivery charge for pizza to discourage people who order lots of pizza and then do not eat it. Party platters will also have a charge as will soda, beer, bottled water and alcoholic beverages. Food other than listed above is at no charge. Grammyluvs Posted May 21, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Does it matter what type currency you use when tipping? ex. USD, euros, etc.
caribill Posted May 21, 2012 #7 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Does it matter what type currency you use when tipping? ex. USD, euros, etc. USD or Euros are fine. Euros are especially appreciated on a European cruise as there is more opportunity for the crew to spend some of the tips there. By the way, don't try to tip in USD $2 bills. They are hard for the crew to actually use as many places overseas do not know they are for real.

OCruisers Posted October 10, 2013 #9 Share Posted October 10, 2013 We very seldom order room service ... but, when we have, the Club Sandwich is good. :) Yes, we give a tip. Think $2.00 for a simple delivery. Not about room service tipping ... but a couple of bartenders have told us that either US Dollars or Euros are great as an extra cash tip.
