Bahamas "Immigration Arrival Card" ???

OK, filling out the few things that came with my cruise docs. one of them being the Bahamas customs forms. just curious why they'd want my home address and even MORE curious as to why they want my email address. kind of weirds me out.:confused: does anyone know or have any input?

The Bahamas is very active in marketing towards travelers. In the years that I have been going to the Bahamas I have only gotten one email from the Bahamas. They collect the email addys but I dont think they budgeted really well to get someone to document them or use them. One of those things that just make you shake your head.

You can leave the email entry blank if you want or just make one up.

 

The home address is normal when traveling internationally. Dont give a fals one of those. Sometimes they check and it can be embaressing if you give a false address for home. They may not be very understanding.

No one collected those cards from me. I dutifully filled them out, but I couldn't interest anyone in them. We only stopped at Coco Cay, and that may have been why.

We stopped in the Bahamas twice last year. No forms were required

Just got off the Glory 4/16 cruise. Carnival REQUIRED the Bahamas customs card be filled out BEFORE we boarded in Port Canaveral. The agent that took our tickets and did our Sign & Sail stuff took the Bahamas customs form.

 

Don't know why the e-mail, but we used our normal e-mail address for the form.
