Spa Question

I've cruised before but never had a massage onboard. I wanted to this time and I looked up my cruise and it only lets you get the more spendy ones. Do they book before you even step onboard or do they only sell the more $$$ ones? I was just looking for the massage and not all the other added stuff.

Also on formal nights does anyone know what the cost is for a style or updo?

I think they only do a certain % of online bookings. I can't imagine it's all booked. I don't know what ship you're on but if you go to the spa right after you board, you should be able to make an appt then. Sea days tend to go fast so when I've done appts, I do it immediately. Same with hair appts for formal nights.

If you're willing to wait it out a bit, they usually offer a significant discount partway through the trip. On my last couple 7-day cruises, I've done the "Ladies Night Special" on a port day about halfway through the week -- includes a Swedish back massage, foot and ankle massage, scalp massage, facial and glass of champagne for like $100-ish. The trick is that they don't advertise/offer it until partway through, so you can't really plan/book ahead. I've never been on Voyager, though, so take my advice with a grain of salt!
