All ships have laundry services you pay for- a lot. Self service laundries are usually not available on the older ships. Ships with laundries have washers, dryers and irons for passengers to use.

Suggest you go to your Roll Call here and see if anyone has been on your ship! They could answer your questions.

The Emerald has plenty of self-serve laundry rooms. The machines take quarters. As for availability timing is key, i.e. port days vs. sea days, etc.

 

I don't think the OP is referring to the Emerald Princess. Her title says Scenic Emerald, which is a river cruise ship.

I was just looking again at the deck plan for the Emerald - I will be sailing on her in a few weeks. Our cabin is on the Aloha deck and there is a self service laundry facility on that deck according to what it shows on the deck plan.

Scenic Emerald does not have an Aloha deck they only have 3 decks

As mentioned above this ship is a river cruise ship
