Latest time to book cruise

I've always been one to book a cruise waaaaay ahead of time. I'm heading to Florida next month and would like to book a cruise for when I'm there. The only problem I have is I don't know my exact schedule. When's the absolute last day before a cruise sails that you can book a cabin....hopefully there will be one available. :rolleyes:

I booked a cruise last month for my parents the night before it left at about 4:30pm on Carnival. I am pretty sure the lady said 5:00pm was the latest to book on RCCL, but I didnt ask the Carnival lady.

I'm going to have to try this one day. I love booking last minute but so far my record is 48 hrs before...

Thanks for the answers regarding booking late. Really wanted to take the cruise, but was afraid I couldn't without knowing my goofy schedule. Now, as long as there's a cabin left, I can look forward to my next cruise. Thanks again!!!:D

Easter is April 8th and spring break is winding down the first 2 weeks of April so I'd expect the ships to be fuller the first 2 weeks of April.
