B2B Whittier Princess Tour

It would also be simple to just make your own plans. There is Avis, you can just walk to from the ship- and drive yourself, anywhere, or boat tours of Prince William Sound.

With driving, you can be out the 9am tunnel, have all day, then return through the 5:30- or depending on your departure (you would have already been checked in) maybe even the 6:30pm tunnel. Can certainly see and do plenty.

We did exactly what Budget Queen is suggesting on our B2B cruise on the Diamond Princess a couple of years ago and it worked very well for us. We rented a car from Avis and drove along Turnagain Arm to Anchorage with stops along the way at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and Girdwood. It is a stunning drive and we had plenty of time to stop and enjoy the scenery and sites along the way and also spend time in Anchorage. I believe Princess does offer some excursion options for those on the B2B itinerary but it is likely just as easy and more cost effective to make your own plans. I know that some of our fellow cruisers did the Prince William Sound boat tours that they had booked on their own and seemed to enjoy that very much as well.
