What do I need to know?

Looking forward to my first Celebrity cruise, May 27th. I've cruised before, am diamond plus on Royal, making me Elite on Celebrity. Others that have sailed on both lines tell me that Celebrity is a step up! We will be on the Mellenium, in a veranda room. I have researched the Celebrity site, but don't find it to be very informative. So, all you Celebrity cruisers out there, what do I need to know, what's not to be missed?

Welcome to X! We also are frequent RC cruisers, who have found ourselves gravitating more and more to Celebrity. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the differences in the two lines. Of course, if your life is incomplete without a giant green ogre on your cruise, you may be disappointed! ;)

You will need to read the daily info that's in your cabin, regarding activities on the ship. Because, you won't be hearing minute-to-minute announcements on the PA system for bingo, art auctions, inch-of-gold sales, etc.

For the most part, the only loudspeaker announcement you'll hear is the Captain's daily address -- usually around noon.

Have a great time on Millie! :D
