OceanWind Posted June 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2004 I know NCL will not let you bring alcoholic drinks on to the ship but what is there policy for Non-Alcoholic drinks. Has anyone tried to bring a case of pop on?
Barry H Posted June 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2004 We take a case of pop with us on board every cruise. There is no problem doing this. I know that pop is a lot cheaper here in Canada than in the US. Depending where you are departing from, it is often more convenient to purchase it in the US. That said, most of the cruise terminals do not have anywhere to buy pop. We fly down a day ahead and then find a store close to our hotel. laodell Posted June 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2004 We have always packed two liters in the giant 2 gallon size zip lock bags (in case of a leak). They make the suitcase heavy, but we haven't ever had a problem with it before. Just curious for those of you who bring the cases of pop--do you carry them on or pack them? OceanWind Posted June 12, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted June 12, 2004 Thanks everyone. I have taken cases of pop on to Celebrity before with no problem but I wasn't sure about NCL policy. NCL likes to get all the money it can from you when you are on the boat. Thanks again.

Zeno Posted June 12, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 12, 2004 I had no problem taking bottled water and soft drinks on board in Feb. We bought them in port and just carried them on in shopping bags. Until NCL SKY
