Majesty Junior Suites

Recommended Posts

I've been on the Majesty a few times and she is one of my favourite ships and does one of my favourite itineraries. I often plump for an inside cabin but a few years ago I decided to try a Junior Suite. Low and behold, embarkation came and I was upgraded to a Grand Suite. So I just have two questions

1. how does a junior suite on the Majesty compare in size and style to JS's on the newer classes?

2. Was I upgraded because I had just come off the Liberty a day earlier and was classed as a valued customer or was it purely random that I was upgraded?

Have you cruised on a Voyager or Freedom class ship? The JS on Majesty is about the same size, in square footage but not in shape, as an E cabin on one of those ships.

No one knows why upgrades occur. Fairy dust was sprinkled on you. Don't ask why; don't look a gift horse in the mouth!

The bathrooms have a very noticable increase in space. When we were in this suite it was just my wife and I and the cabin itself was just fine for us. I thought it compared to the D class on Voyager and Freedom, but that was just casual observance.
