Been on Ventura twice, but I never have a particular preference to ships or indeed cruise companies.

 

Its all about itinary, date and price for any holiday.

We have just booked on the 2nd June Fjords cruise on the Azura. We checked one day and it was £699 pp. Checked the day after and it had dropped to £529 pp! We soon booked it :-)

If you are doing cruises that are quite common, like Western Med, Fjords, Canaries, then because there are so many of those, the prices will drop. If you are doing unusual longer cruises, 21 days to Black Sea, 24 days, North/America, then whenever we have booked early, the price has rarely come down to what we paid. Having said that, we always book an inside and I think it might make a difference if you book a balcony. They seem to drop the price of the balconies.
