Seven Mile Beach or Rum Point?

I've been to 7 Mile Beach quite a few years ago (2004) and at that time it was very nice, clean, not crowded etc. But I've read on some other boards that it has become over crowded and the bathrooms were filthy. I haven't been to Rum Point -- can anyone who's been to either recently let me know what the conditions are like?

I'm pretty sure crowding will simply depend on how many folks are there at a given time....same with bathrooms....someone may have caught them on a bad day.

 

We've never felt packed and jammed on the beaches, and the restrooms were quite clean, I thought!

We did 7 mile beach a couple weeks ago, and there were 5 cruise ships docked there that day. We got dropped off around the middle of 7 mile, I don't remember where exactly. It wasn't too awful crowded, but we did leave about noon.
