Boarding Ruby tomorrow! One quick question!

I plan on bringing some wine and beer in my carry on. Can I go directly to my room when we board? I plan on getting to port around 11:30 for 12:00 boarding.

 

Just don't want to lug it around when I go ship exploring, would like to drop it off in my room and than go exploring....I really want to find the International cafe, after reading that post with pictures I am pretty excited about it:)

Once the Ship opens for boarding, yes you can go directly to your cabin. Princess is great about cabins being ready as soon as you've boarded.

Enjoy the International Cafe (deck 5), so many yummy things!!!

Thanks guys! I am getting ready to leave for airport! So excited, but I always worry that maybe I'm forgetting something and leaving my house and pets is sad. But once iget on the ship, there will be forgotten;)

All Princess ships/cruises board passengers only after cabins are ready to be occupied. Once you board, there's never a wait and you can go directly to it.

Getting to the room is the easy part. You might have a problem getting beer aboard; I believe it is prohibited.

We are on the Ruby. Our friends had no problem bringing beer on board. We checked two cases of wine with our luggage and it arrived unopened in our cabin.

Assume you are boarding in Florida, doubt you will have any problem getting your beer on, we have never seen any inforcement there.
