Thestral Posted April 20, 2012 #26 Share Posted April 20, 2012 How much of an OBC do you get? I cruise once a year and it would be nice to add a little perk. Will you get it along with your FCC OBC? I prepay my tips, but it sure would be nice to have my drinks paid!
texaskit Posted April 20, 2012 #27 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Sorry, but I personally would not spend $300 plus to get a $100 OBC for next month. Why not put that money in OBC now and start buying your stock to use the credit during a future cruise. But, hey, that's just me.
Native Floridian 26 Posted April 20, 2012 Author #28 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Depends on length of cruise. Less than 7 nights is $50, 7-13 is $100 and 14+ is $250. It's promotional OBC just like the what you get from the Future Cruise Certificates and they are combinable.

Native Floridian 26 Posted April 20, 2012 Author #30 Share Posted April 20, 2012 It's down today so I bought! Just in time for my cruise in two weeks. I hope to reap the benefits of this for many cruises.
jakesnana Posted April 20, 2012 #31 Share Posted April 20, 2012 We purchased our stock in December 2002 in both of our names, with Joint Rights of Survivorship. At the time, we paid $25.00 per share. Since then, we have been on 12-13 Carnival cruises, earning around $1,000.00 (some were shorter cruises). When you take into consideration the amount we've gotten in OBC and the current value of the stock, we've made out quite well.

I'm hoping to enjoy many OBCs and hopefully an increased share price over the years.
