Which holiday Inn in FLL

The convention center location on SE 17th St is the best location. It's right next to the port entrance and is surrounded by restaurants.

I am also looking for a place for a group of 20ppl. My friend stayed at this hotel and she loved it, she said they walked to the beach and could watch the ships etc etc. BUT theres no pool! Living in the north, Id like to have a pool to visit on my vacation....So the search is on.

There will be a pool on the ship, I can make one night without one.

I have heard that the convention center was not in a great neighborhood, was that wrong or has it changed? Close to the port is always a plus.

The convention center is in a very good neighborhood. The area west of that neighborhood isn't great. The airport/cruiseport HI on State Rd 84 isn't in a great neighborhood (not too bad, but not too good either).
