Mobile Reception NCL Epic Med Cruise

Hi my mobile (cell) operator is now offering good deals on data romaing, what kind of signal (if any) should I expect on my NCL Epic Med cruise (Italy, France)whilst on board or will I still need some WiFi package from NCL to get online? sorry if this has been discussed to death! :confused: I couldnt find what I need via search. Thanks:)

I would get very specific with your particular cell phone provider. I feel certain you would need to access the ship's wifi or cell tower service at the NCL price. I'm not familar with plans outside the US, but feel that a data plan for you might not be in effect while in a roaming situation outside your approved coverage area. Best get answers from your provider.

the roaming package only applies to onshore signals-once you are out at sea the phone will pick up NCL's own wifi which will cost you a fortune.

check that the coverage is showing for the country eg Italy
