World Club Membership

Can any recent first timers please advise.

 

We had first time cruising friends join us on Queen Victoria last November. We were joking with them last night about whether they had started getting all the Cunard junk mail yet. Turns out they have received absolutly nothing, no promotions, no Cunarder magazine, no World Club membership info.

 

It's been a long time since we were new to Cunard and things have changed so I've just checked the website and it says first timers should get their membership pack before disembarking (if only I'd thought to read this before we sailed:D). Can anyone advise if this is normally the case or if not, how/when did you get yours?

 

Guess I'll give the WC a call tomorrow.

The membership pack will probably be given to you in your cabin near the end of your voyage. That's how we've got ours.

 

If you want to receive/don't want to receive emails, mailings etc, go into your WC profile on the Cunard website and tick the appropriate boxes.

It is automatic.

I think pepperrn got it right. When Micky lets me come aboard without paying I'll be a "guest." Until then I'm a passenger.
