Dry cleaning a suit question?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how long it would take to dry clean a men's suit once on board? Is there next day service? Price? We will be sailing the Freedom of the Seas next week.

Thanks. :)

It really depends on how busy they are. I usually send my dress stuff down on arrival day to get it pressed, and I get it back that evening. I would imagine that if not the same day, you would have it back the next morning.

Enjoy Freedom, shes a beautiful ship.

Thank you Justin. My husband usually gets his suit pressed but never dry cleaned. We were wondering if we would get it back the next day for the first formal night.

And the price?

ps - I am a Proud balcony snob too!

I generally tell the steward when we first meet him/her the first day that I have clothes to be cleaned/pressed and that they are specifically for formal night the next night. I tend to get them at 5 or a little after the next day.

Dry cleaning onboard is a lot less than our home town so I will pack suit wrinkly and needing cleaning and get it by next day in time for Formal Night all fresh and not wrinkled. Beats getting it cleaned before leaving and then having to pack (and wrinkle) it.

Very interesting. That is why I am wondering the prices on RCI. :)
